The Royal Greenwich Business2Business Football Festival

Dear business,
We would like to invite you to participate in the inaugural Royal Greenwich Business2Business Football Festival, a community event in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, enabling local businesses (small and large) to compete in the football tournament, and the local community to connect with these businesses, aswell as diverse food and entertainment offerings.

Headlinerz Barbershop Ltd, awarded Best High Street Business in the Best of Royal Greenwich Business Awards, is a beacon of community support. Initiatives like Thursday Night Jollof with Jesse D Barber provides a safe haven for black men to address emotional and mental health concerns. Post-pandemic, we conducted a crowdfunding campaign to provide free haircuts to those in need. Recognising growing needs, we established Ndukauba Ltd, a nonprofit dedicated to community welfare, and championing well-being in the Royal Borough of Greenwich.

• Premier Networking Event: Host the largest business networking event, combining sports, entertainment, and commerce.
• Promoting Health and Wellness: Raise awareness about maintaining good emotional, physical, and mental health.
• Sense of Belonging: Instill pride within the Greenwich community, establishing an annual cherished festival.
• Exposure and Community Engagement: Bring businesses, products, services, and offers closer to the community.

• Sector Representation: Businesses will form teams representing various sectors.
• Tournament Structure: Held over several days, featuring group stages, knock-out stages, quarter-finals, semi-finals, and finals.

• Social Impact: Foster community integration and celebrate Greenwich’s diverse business community.
• Cross-Collaboration: Encourage businesses to collaborate and strengthen partnerships
• Cultural Exchange: Showcase the rich cultural tapestry of our borough.
• Promoting Healthy Lifestyles: Advocate for physical and mental well-being.

The festival will take place at Charlton Park from September 17th to 28th, 2024. These dates may be shortened based on number of participating teams.
